How to Measure Your Wrist

What you need

A soft measuring tape. If you don’t have one, use a string or paper strip plus a ruler.

Method A — Measuring tape

Wrap the tape around the narrow point of your wrist (just above the wrist bone). Record the measurement snug but not tight.

Method B — String or paper

Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat, and measure the length with a ruler.

Units & conversion

We support cm and inches. Quick reference: 1 in = 2.54 cm.

Bangle vs. bracelet

  • Elastic/clasp bracelets: measure the wrist as above.
  • Closed bangles: measure the widest part of your hand (around the knuckles) with the thumb tucked in.

Choose Your Preferred Fit

Add the amount below to your wrist measurement to get your target bracelet inner circumference/length.

Snug fit (minimal movement)

Add +0.5 cm (~0.2 in). Best for small beads or solo wear.

Classic fit (most popular)

Add +1.0–1.5 cm (~0.4–0.6 in). Comfortable for daily wear.

Loose/stacker fit (extra drape)

Add +1.5–2.0 cm (~0.6–0.8 in). Ideal for layering and larger beads.

Bracelet Size Chart (Elastic/Clasp)

Tip: If you’re between sizes, choose the larger for comfort—especially with 10–12 mm beads.

Bead Size & Fit Adjustments

Why bead size matters

Larger beads reduce inner space and make a bracelet feel tighter. Adjust your target size upward for bigger beads or chunky charms.

Quick adjustments by bead diameter

  • 6–8 mm beads: your chosen fit usually works as-is.
  • 10 mm beads: add +0.3–0.5 cm (~0.1–0.2 in).
  • 12 mm beads: add +0.5–0.8 cm (~0.2–0.3 in).
  • Chunky charms/spacers: add an extra +0.2–0.3 cm (~0.1 in).

Style Scenarios & Stacking

Single-strand everyday

Classic fit is the most comfortable for all-day wear.

Layered stacks

Choose classic or loose fit; mix bead sizes (e.g., 6–8 mm base, 10 mm accent) for comfort and balance.

With a watch

Measure your wrist where you wear the watch and aim for +1.5–2.0 cm allowance in total for room.

Special Cases

Gifting / not sure of size

Pick adjustable or elastic designs, or our default M (often best for women) / L (often best for men). Add an extender chain for clasp styles.

Plus sizes & custom

We craft sizes up to XXXL. Provide your exact wrist measurement in order notes for a custom fit.

Kids & teens

Measure carefully—children’s wrists change quickly. Consider adjustable cords.

Hands with limited mobility (bangles)

Use the knuckle-circumference method; choose hinged or open bangles when possible.

Seasonal swelling

Hands can swell in heat or after workouts—choose classic/loose fit if you notice frequent changes.

Aftercare for Elastic Bracelets

Put on & take off

Roll, don’t pull over the widest part of the hand to avoid overstretching.

Longevity

Elastic will relax with time; avoid water, lotions, and hard tugs. Contact us for re-stringing if it loosens prematurely.

FAQs

I’m between sizes—what now?

Go one size up for comfort, especially with 10–12 mm beads or stacked looks.

Do larger beads change the size I need?

Yes—add 0.3–0.8 cm depending on bead diameter and charm bulk.

How tight should a crystal bracelet be?

It should move slightly without pinching. The classic fit is ideal for daily wear.

Can you resize after purchase?

Yes—see our Returns & Exchanges and Warranty & Care pages for re-stringing or clasp adjustments.
